Privacy Policy

Fishableai.app, LLC ("Fishableai.app," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Fishableai.app mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the App.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

1. Information We Collect

Fishableai.app is built to work without collecting any personal information. We do not require an account, login, or user registration. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any identifying information.

We do not request iOS location permissions. You select your fishing region manually within the App. Your GPS coordinates are never accessed, transmitted, or stored.

1.1 Anonymous Analytics Data

We use Google Firebase — including Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics — to collect anonymous, aggregate information about how the App is used. This helps us understand which features are valuable, identify crashes, and improve the App. Firebase may collect:

• Crash reports and diagnostic information (stack traces, device OS version, device model type)
• Aggregate feature usage events — for example, how many times the Share button is tapped across all users in total
• General app performance metrics such as load times and error rates
• General geographic region at the country or state level, derived from IP address by Google — we do not access or store this ourselves

This data is collected in aggregate only. It is not tied to you as an individual, is not linked to any device identifier we control, and cannot be used to identify you personally.

1.2 What We Do Not Collect

To be explicit, we do not collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• Your GPS location or any location data
• Any account credentials or profile information
• Payment or financial information (the App is free)
• Photos, camera, microphone, or contacts data
• Any information that can identify you as a specific individual

2. How We Use Analytics Data

The anonymous, aggregate analytics data collected through Firebase is used solely to:

• Identify and fix crashes and technical errors
• Understand which features and fishery sections are most useful
• Improve App performance, stability, and user experience
• Make informed product decisions about what to build next

We do not use analytics data to serve targeted advertisements, build user profiles, or sell to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Google Firebase

We use Google Firebase, provided by Google LLC, for crash reporting and anonymous analytics. When you use the App, your device communicates with Firebase servers. Google may collect certain device-level information as described in Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We encourage you to review Google's privacy practices.

3.2 Fishing Data Providers

The App generates fishing reports using third-party data APIs including weather services, NOAA tide data, and AI content generation services. These services receive only the fishing region you have selected — never any personal information about you.

3.3 No Advertising Networks

The App does not currently include advertising and does not integrate any advertising SDKs or third-party tracking networks. If this changes in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide notice within the App.

4. Data Sharing

Because we collect no personal information, there is very little to share. We do not sell, rent, or trade user data. The only data that leaves your device is the anonymous analytics described in Section 1.1, which flows to Google Firebase under their privacy framework. We may disclose information if required by law or court order — given that we hold no personal data, such requests would yield nothing identifying.

5. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures for the systems we control. Because we collect no personal information, the privacy risk to users is inherently limited. Anonymous analytics data processed by Firebase is subject to Google's enterprise-grade security infrastructure.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — or from anyone. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

7. Your Choices

Because we collect no personal information, there is no account to delete and no personal data to request or correct. If you wish to stop all analytics data collection, you may delete the App from your device at any time.

California residents: we do not sell personal information and we do not collect personal information as defined under CCPA. No opt-out is necessary.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the Effective Date at the top of this document and, for significant changes, by providing notice within the App.
